Ina Garten has been known as a well-known American writer of cook books over the seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina began to write policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. Her first impression was that her job to be intellectually stimulating, but eventually lost interest and bought a small food specialty store named Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the store extremely successful before selling it off and grabbing a pen to begin writing her first book. A number of other books and magazine articles followed. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a hit. Her range of items spans from cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. She is known for her straightforward approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
