Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced an unhappy childhood. When she was two the mother of her fled from an violent relationship. Pickler was brought back to the mother she had left in 1995 when she took over custody. It did not work out very well. So when she was 12 the court gave back Pickler to her parents - who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Since she was not with her parents, Pickler became too busy caring for her children. Pickler admitted she didn't get enough time for school and began learning how to be a homemaker from an early age. Pickler was a member of her high school's and middle school's cheerleading team. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in 2004. Pickler was also a beauty pageant contestant. Her title is Miss Stanly.
